Growing Up Live is a concert film by Hamish Hamilton and Peter Gabriel. It features a live performance from Gabriel’s 2003 “Growing Up” tour. The concert is notable for its dynamic set design by Robert Lepage. Also of note is the addition of Melanie Gabriel, his daughter, for backing vocals in this concert footage.

Das Gitarren- / Cello-Duo Montana Skies ist ein Projekt der Eheleute Jonathan Adams (Gitarre) und Jennifer Adams (Cello).
Das Paar traf sich während des Musikstudiums an der University of Georgia in Athen. Zuerst hatten die beiden eine Zusammenarbeit in der klassischen Musik geplant. Aber nach dem sie das Repertoire der Universitätsbibliothek untersucht hatten entdeckten sie, dass (klassische) Musik für Cello / Gitarre so selten war, wie die Kombination an sich.
Jonathan und Jennifer liesen sich nicht entmutigen, sie begannen ihre eigenen Versionen zu Klassikern zu schreiben und komponierten eigene Musik für sich.

Seit über 15 Jahren steht der Name De-Phazz (Destination Phuture Jazz) für eine beispiellose Erfolgsgeschichte und den damit verbundenen Beweis, wie zeitlos die Fusion aus darbietenden Musikern und Elektronik-Produzenten sein kann. Pit Baumgartner ist zweifelsohne eine Ikone letzt genannter Zunft, Pat Appleton, Karl Frierson und Barbara Lahr als Sänger des immer tourenden Live-Lounge-Projekts nicht minder talentiert in dem, was sie erfolgreich auf die Bühnen Europas und an die Spitze der Charts transportieren: Exzellente Lounge Musik mit viel jazziger Finesse.

Eigens für die Sänger Appleton, Frierson und Lahr kompilierte er je ein Artist-Album, Performances vieler illustrer Gäste wie Joo Kraus, Helmut Hattler oder Sandie Wollasch wurde ein Silberling gewidmet sowie der re-mixenden Kunst des inspirierten Repertoire- Jongleurs u. a. für A-HA, Juli, Alphaville oder Till Brönner.
In das mit 34 Seiten prall gefüllten und grafisch exzellent gestaltete Hardcover- Buch fügt sich als besonderer musikalischer Leckerbissen das Fan- Item schlechthin ein: Ein vorab veröffentlichtes Album, das den bisherigen Stil von De-Phazz auf eine neue Stufe hebt – De-Phazz akustisch! Brandneue Songs sowie klug gewählte De-Phazz -Classics bezeugen einmal mal mehr, die auch bodenständige Tauglichkeit Baumgartners Kompositionen. Nach der Pop-Chart-Challenge besteht De-Phazz nun auch noch die Lagerfeuerprobe!
