She Makes War is the DIY gloom-pop solo project of Laura Kidd: multi-instrumentalist, visual artist and digital polymath. “ After a while, I grew closer to “Disarm”, than “Little Battles” – although both are excellent. It’s edgier, rawer, take NIMN. And yet, there is a sufficient amount of catchiness, and songs like “Firearms” or “I Am” will quickly get into your head. It’s great Art Rock, or whatever you want to call it.
